Presenters:

Imants Jaunarajs serves as the Assistant Dean for the Career & Leadership Development Center at Ohio University. With more than fourteen years of experience in university career centers, Jaunarajs is a creator of innovative and outcome-driven career development best practices. Jaunarajs earned a bachelor’s of arts from Earlham College and master’s of arts from Western Michigan University. He is the creator of the BBCD concept, and, along with CLDC colleagues, regularly trains and consults staff across the country on effectively infusing the neuroscience into career and leadership development practice.

Jodi Pavol serves as the Associate Director for Partnerships at Ohio University’s Career and Leadership Development Center. In addition to providing career and leadership coaching to students, she collaborates with campus partners to integrate career and leadership development into academic units and student support services.  She has been utilizing the BBCD method to coach and mentor students for over seven years. Jodi received a Master of Education in College Student Personnel at Ohio University in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Agriscience Education from The Ohio State University.

Zach McGrain serves as the Associate Director of the Career and Leadership Development Center for Career Development Integration at Ohio University. With more than eight years of experience in university career centers, McGrain has worked with academic units, institutional research, and student affairs units to strategically plan career development integration at Ohio University. In his roles, he has had the opportunity to train other university and college professionals on the Brain Based Career Development (BBCD) model. McGrain earned a bachelor’s of arts from Otterbein University and master’s of arts from Baldwin Wallace University.

Marcquis Parham serves as the Assistant Director For Career and Leadership Development with the Patton College of Education. With industry experience in Professional Sports, Education, and Non-Profit Administration, Marcquis has returned to Ohio University to work with students from his Alma Mater. His is a proud graduate of the Patton College of Education where he received both is Bachelors in Graduate Degree in Recreation Sport Pedagogy with focus in Coaching Education. Marcquis is a BBCD Practitioner who primarily works with Ohio students in Hospitality, Recreation, Merchandising, and Education Career Fields.
